All nursing homes have a three-year registration regime, and renewal for three-year periods.
the inspection covers interviews with staff, residents and relatives of residents.
Out of the 18 areas covered, 16 were deemed to be fully compliant with the other two of a minor nature. This was a tremendous outcome and reflected so well on the hard work by Susan Anderson, Director of Nursing, and all her staff.
Since then we have received our re-registration certificate which will last until April 2018.
A wonderful achievement which is attributable to the dedication of our caring staff. The support provided by our administrative and ground staff, catering and the work of the Brabazon Committee on a voluntary basis throughout the year, is also crucial in achieving this status.
Nursing homes operate in a very regulated sector of the healthcare industry and we are proud of the way in which we have met the quality standards underpinned by regulations.
